National Jewish Health to Provide Pediatric Respiratory, Allergy and Immunology Services at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children

National Jewish Health and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center have announced an agreement for National Jewish Health for Kids to provide diagnostic and treatment services for children with respiratory, allergic and immune system disorders. Clinical services will be provided by the nationally-recognized National Jewish Health for Kids physicians, collaborating to provide care on site at the family-focused, full-service Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children.

Adding the National Jewish Health for Kids expert pediatric specialists to our outreach activities throughout the Rocky Mountain Region also will bring clinical education on important pediatric conditions to communities we serve outside the Denver metro area.”

The program will be comprehensive and collaborative, taking a multi-disciplinary approach to care and education. Programs for patients will include world-renowned diagnosis and treatment services in allergy, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases, respiratory, immune system disorders and immunodeficiency.

The new program is targeted to open in February 2015. National Jewish Health for Kids physicians will staff the new program at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children as well as provide “on-call” service for emergency and inpatient needs for HealthOne facilities needing pediatric consultations in these disease-related areas.

Outpatient services will be provided through Rocky Mountain Pediatric Respiratory and Allergy Care with National Jewish Health for Kids physicians.
