Ingredients Sauce 2 pounds mushrooms, sliced ¼ cup margarine 1 medium onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped ½ cup tomatoes, diced ½ cup water ½ teaspoon salt 2 ½ tablespoons paprika ½ teaspoon pepper Pinch of rosemary Thickener ½ tablespoon margarine ½ tablespoon flour 6 cups cooked pasta Directions In a large pan, melt margarine over medium-high heat. Brown onions, then add tomatoes. Add all seasoning and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes. Add mushrooms. Check saltiness, add extra if needed. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add water. Cover,bring to a boil, and then lower heat as low as it will go. Cook for about 1 hour. Stir occasionally. Melt margarine in pan. Mix in flour. When forms a paste, remove from heat and mix into sauce thoroughly. Serve over pasta.
