Two-Day Kunsberg Classic at Shanahan’s and The Sanctuary Raises $210,000 for Chronically Ill Children

The 11th National Jewish Health Kunsberg Classic, presented by RE/MAX LLC and sponsored by Shanahan’s, raised $210,000 for Kunsberg School at National Jewish Health, a free day school for 90 chronically ill students in kindergarten through eighth grades. The event included a private dinner at Shanahan’s, Denver’s premier steak and seafood restaurant, on Aug. 5 and continued with golf on Aug. 6 at The Sanctuary, the exclusive, world-recognized course in Sedalia, Colo.

Michael Harms, vice president of GE Johnson Construction Company, and Marc Steron, managing partner of Shanahan’s, co-chaired the event. Committee members were Paulette Brody, Stanton Dodge, David Engleberg, Steve Kris, Brian Parks, Laszlo Pook, Eddie Robinson, Scott Robinson and Meyer Saltzman.

Upon graduation, Kunsberg students have the skills to lead healthy, productive, meaningful and active lives.
