Patient Ratings

The Patient Rating score is an average of all responses to care provider related questions on our independent rating system, the Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. This survey is about the patient care experience and does not address crucial characteristics like medical decision-making, prescribing the best therapy, and patient outcomes.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score. Learn more about our patient satisfaction survey.

Dr. Koschar gives the impression her attention is somewhere else. Perhaps this is just an issue of style. But, it is rather off-putting. It would be good if she worked at projecting more of a friendly, caring sense.

This was my first contact with this Dr. and I was very pleased.

the doctor was informed regarding my history and was able to judge from my present concerns the correct course of action

I saw Dr. Kochar once before and liked her so much that I talked my daughter into going to see her. Dr. K was excellent, very knowledgeable and explained things very well to me. She is very thorough, and that is why I drive 4 hours round trip to see her.

I felt a little rushed.

I made a long trip to this hospital for a second opinion because it was so highly recommended and I was thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. I found your hospital took my concerns more seriously and got me in a lot sooner than my own cardiologist in [my home town]. I found the doctor outstanding in her concern and ability to explain the situation with me and in making a good plan for care.
