Clinical Translational Research Center
The CTRC is funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health. It provides an infrastructure for the support of meritorious outpatient research directed toward studying normal human function as well as the explanation and treatment of human diseases.
The unit includes nursing support; patient exam rooms; Regulatory Assistance / Preparation; and a clinical immunology/flow cytometry core lab.
If a researcher is interested in using the clinical services of the CTRC, they must contact Susan Leung, RN by email or at 303.398.1549 to discuss their protocol and for pricing. The Program Administrator will assist researchers with completion of the necessary forms which will be submitted to the NJH HRPP and then to the BRANY IRB.
The CTRC Inflammation and Immunology Core Lab provides patient sample processing including: RNA/DNA extractions; cell isolations (BAL, PBMC, others); serum and plasma extractions; and sputum processing, as well as assays to support investigators’ studies such as cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISPOT, ELISA, LPT, and more.
