Li Li

Li Li, MD, is a researcher at National Jewish Health. Dr. Li is in the Division of Environmental and Occupational Health Services.

Special Interests

The majority of Dr. Li’s current research is a) to define the specific CBD and sarcoidosis disease gene profiles and their function, b) to investigate the potential molecular and immunopathogenetic mechanisms suggested by these studies, and c) to identify possible surrogate biomarkers of CBD and sarcoidosis in the future. She strongly believe that by revealing the mechanisms of the granulomatous diseases, it will not only aid in the prevention or early diagnosis of CBD and sarcoidosis, but also provide insights into the potential therapeutic applications.  It is also her goal to extend the results of the biomarker investigation by testing its application for use as a future clinical diagnostic.
