I ground my care in forming a collaborative relationship with my patients, fostering an empathetic partnership in which patients are empowered to understand their condition and actively participate in their own care. I believe that this is critical to the successful management of complex chronic conditions, and strive to ensure that the patients I treat leave appointments feeling confident in their understanding of the condition and the plan to treat it with the most cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies available.
My clinical practice is focused on myositis/inflammatory myopathies such as polymyositis, dermatomyositis, idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, and anti-synthetase syndrome; vasculitis including granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), microscopic polyangiitis (MPA), and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA); and relapsing polychondritis. I additionally specialize in the treatment of a broad variety of other autoimmune and rheumatologic conditions.
