Trial Objectives

Researchers want to know if a small experimental device called Breathe Away is safe and effective. The device (the size of a large cell phone) gathers information from a pulse oximeter, which is worn on the ear of the participant. The information collected automatically adjusts the flow of oxygen through the cannula to keep blood oxygen in the normal range. Volunteers have one clinic visit where they perform two six-minute walking tests and complete a survey.
