Living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) affects how you breathe and perform daily activities, but there are many resources available to help you manage symptoms and maintain your quality of life.

Early on, understanding your diagnosis and learning how to use medications and inhalers correctly are essential. Over time, managing flare-ups, monitoring symptoms and adjusting activity levels become important. Oxygen needs, travel planning and pulmonary rehabilitation also may become part of your care.
