Dr. Michelle Haas Joins National Jewish Health Infectious Disease Team

DENVER, CO —

Michelle Haas, MD, recently joined National Jewish Health as an infectious disease physician in the Division of Mycobacterial and Respiratory Infections. She specializes in treating mycobacterial diseases, including tuberculosis (TB) and Nontuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM). She sees patients for NTM and TB at the National Jewish Health main campus located at Colorado Blvd and Colfax Ave.

Dr. Haas completed her fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora. She has numerous studies published on TB, HIV and COVID-19 and has received various awards in academics, teaching, patient care and research.  In addition, Dr. Haas was recognized as a 5280 Top Doctor in 2021 and 2022.

Dr. Haas received her medical degree from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School and completed her residency in internal medicine from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She most recently served as an infectious disease physician at Denver Health and served as both an associate and interim director of the Tuberculosis Program while she was there.
