Warren Cohen and Daniel Yohannes Join National Jewish Health Board of Directors

DENVER, CO —

National Jewish Health is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors. Warren Cohen and Ambassador Daniel Yohannes assumed their new roles on the board in April 2018.

Warren Cohen, Principal & Manager of D4 UrbanWarren Cohen is currently a Principal and Manager of D4 Urban here in Denver, and is a long-time investor and entrepreneur. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado in 1971, a certificate of Certified Public Accountancy in 1973, and a Colorado Real Estate license in 1974.

Cohen founded Cohen Capital Corporation in 1978—a Colorado-based real estate investment, management and development company. In 1984, Cohen was one of the founding shareholders of MegaBank Financial Corporation and served on its board and various committees until 2000 when it was sold to Compass Bank. In 1996, Mr. Cohen and his colleague Jim Frank bought the Denver Design Center and subsequently acquired the surrounding contiguous commercial property. This approximate 75 acres encompasses the Denver Design District and is now more broadly known as Broadway Park.

Cohen, who primarily resides in Aspen, Colorado, has served on various public company boards and also has been extensively involved on the boards of numerous charitable organizations—many in leadership positions.

Before his government service, Yohannes worked in the financial services industry as president of M&R Investments, as well as other roles at U.S. Bank, Colorado National Bank and Security Pacific Bank.
