LSRII machine

BD LSR II SORP using BD FACDiva software:

This instrument includes five lasers with competence for analysis of 18 colors. It can be used for routine research applications, immunophenotyping, DNA cell cycle, calcium flux analysis.  Signal processing is powered by the digital acquisition system. Three selectable flow rates of 12ul/min. 35ul/min, 60ul/min with a gain knob providing sample flow rates from 0.5-2x from midpoint value through a gel coupled quartz cuvette. Maximum data collection of 5,000 events/sec.

The 355 laser has a filter set of: 710/50   660/40   605/40   525/50   450/50   390/10   670
 The 405 laser has a filter set of: 525/50   450/50
 The 488 laser has a filter set of: 695/40   525/50   488/10
 The 532 laser has a filter set of: 780/60   710/50   660/40   610/20   575/26

This instrument includes two lasers with 488nm and 640nm output wavelengths with competence for analysis of four colors.It can be used for routine research applications, immunophenotyping, and DNA cell cycle analysis.This machine has selectable flow rates of 12ul/min, 35ul/min, 60ul/min flowing through a quartz cuvette flow cell.Single cell suspensions of 10 to 10 /ml is the recommended range.Only 12x75 polystyrene tubes can be used on this machine.

Backman Coulter CYAN machine

This instrument includes three lasers with 405nm, 488nm, and 630nm output wavelengths with competence for analysis of nine colors. Applications include immunophenotyping, cell cycle, CFP/YFP and FRET analysis.This machine provides acquisition rates of up to 70,000 events/sec. and analysis capability of up to 10,000,000 event data files.Only 12x75 polypropylene tubes can be used on this machine.

This instrument is outfitted with 5 lasers : 355nm UV, 405nm Violet, 488nm Blue, 561nm Yellow-Green,  and 640nm Red  lasers. The Aurora 5 laser system is capable of up to 67 detection channels (64 fluorescence channels, FSC, blue laser SSC, and violet laser SSC). The instrument has proprietary high sensitivity, coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM), semiconductor detector arrays, enabling more efficient spectrum capture for dyes emitting in the 365-830 nm range.  High bandwidth electronics design scalable up to 67 channels.  Vacuum fluidics system enables ultimate flexibility in sample input formats. Small particle detection is enabled by violet laser scatter, narrow beam height, and proprietary flat top laser design.
