Sleep disorders are common in children, yet it is important for your child to get enough sleep every night and to make sure they have quality sleep. Sleep affects every aspect of child development, including learning, processing and remembering information.

At National Jewish Health for Kids in Denver, Colorado, our pediatric sleep experts and multidisciplinary team treat all types of sleep disorders in children from age 6 months through young adults.

Children in the Pediatric Behavioral Sleep Clinic are evaluated for sleep disorders such as sleep apnea and restless sleep, as well as for problems falling asleep or staying asleep. Our experts work to determine the cause of your child’s sleep disorder and develop recommendations that are customized for your child.

Our sleep doctors are researchers, too, so your child will have access to the latest pediatric sleep clinical trials and most effective treatments.

Our comprehensive program offers many services for you and your child:

  • Help with sleep disturbances
  • Psychological assessment and treatment
  • In-depth, one-on-one teaching
  • Continued follow-up to treat your child’s changing needs.
