Students Love the Renovations Video | Morgridge Academy

Morgridge Academy received 1.3 million dollars in donations along with investments from National Jewish Health to modernize the school over the 2022 summer break. The new environment is open and bright with a color palette selected to enhance learning.

I love it- the kids are walking in here at 7 30 and they're half asleep and then they kind of like look around like this and then they wake up and their faces just kind of light up.

They're like wow, we got all new flooring all new paint all new ceilings. We also got a new elevator, which is really important to keep us ADA Compliant.

We got security doors in our basement the center of our library there was a wall down the middle that wall is gone so we have a nice big collaborative space where the kids can come and not only do library type things but also maker space things and electronic things.

Multiple classes at a time be able to be in the same space and really play up that kind of family aspect that our school already has that's going to be one of my favorite things.

In any given school year, we get from the state about a third of our budget the other two-thirds is already coming from donors to come in. On top of that type of generosity with another 1.3 million dollars is just huge watching the kids come in this morning and seeing all the new renovations that have been done for the school made everything worth it thank you for all you do for Morgridge Academy thank you thank you [Music]
