Rev the Runway Event Raises $400,000 for Research and Treatment at National Jewish Health

DENVER, CO —

More than 450 guests attending the November 4, 2021 Rev the Runway event helped raise $400,000 to support National Jewish Health, the nation’s leading respiratory hospital. This year’s affair was presented by Neiman Marcus and Mercedes-Benz of Denver, who also hosted it. Funds raised will help provide compassionate care at National Jewish Health and support groundbreaking research for children and adults with respiratory, cardiac, immune and related diseases. This year marked the fourth year for Rev the Runway and also set a record for the amount it has ever raised.

“National Jewish Health helped me manage my asthma when I was a kid and let me live a normal life,” Cindy Farber, event honorary chair, said. “It brings great comfort to me to know that National Jewish Health is there for my children, my grandchildren and for generations to come.”

More than 50 committee members worked to make the event a success and converted the Mercedes-Benz of Denver’s showroom into a high-fashion runway for the event. Debbie Feiner, Jordan Feiner and Lisa Walko were the event co-chairs. At the event, Debbie Feiner thanked patrons and expressed her continued commitment to National Jewish Health and Rev the Runway. Jordan Feiner recognized the organizing committee for their hard work in making the event a success and Lisa Walko handed out fashion awards to the best dressed attendees, the Vintage Couture award and the Fashion Forward Award.

Lauren Whitney of CBS4 led the evening’s program as emcee. Food Sponsors included some of Denver’s top restaurants, including Shanahan's, Le Bilboquet, Of a Kind, Birdcall and Cochino Taco.
