Pediatric Pulmonologist Dr. Divya Chhabra Joins National Jewish Health


DENVER, CO —

Pediatric Pulmonologist Dr. Divya Chhabra Joins National Jewish HealthDivya Chhabra, MD, has joined the renowned faculty at National Jewish Health for Kids in the Department of Pediatric Pulmonology. She comes to National Jewish Health following her fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Chhabra will see all general pediatric pulmonary patients, with a focus on treating newborns following their release from the neonatal intensive care unit. Her clinical interests also include Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia. Dr. Chhabra’s research will focus on lung development and chronic lung disease in premature infants. Her clinical practice is located at the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver.
 

Dr. Chhabra received her medical degree at Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana, North India, and completed her residency in pediatrics at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in neonatology at Westchester Medical Center in New York. Dr. Chhabra is fluent in Hindi.
