Pulmonologist and Palliative Care Specialist Dr. Amanda Stephens Joins National Jewish Health

DENVER, CO —

Amanda Stephens, MDAmanda Stephens, MD, has joined the faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. She comes to National Jewish Health following a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine at the University of Colorado. Dr. Stephens will establish a unique palliative care program for patients with pulmonary diseases at National Jewish Health.

 

She will think creatively about complicated symptom management, help patients achieve their specific life goals despite their respiratory disease and facilitate discussions about end of life decision making. Additionally, Dr. Stephens will see general pulmonary patients on the National Jewish Health main campus.

Dr. Stephens received her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed her residency and a fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine.
