John W. Hickenlooper, Governor of the State of Colorado, recently declared the week of April 24, 2017 to be Medical Laboratory Professionals Week

Our team of world-renowned scientists are committed to providing the highest quality specialized laboratory services for our clinical, biotech, pharmaceutical, public health and diagnostic partners.
WHEREAS, medical and treatment decisions often rely on timely and accurate test results; and
WHEREAS, laboratory professionals, including pathologists, medical laboratory scientists, cytotechnologists, histotechnologists, medical laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, and histological technicians are highly-trained specialists who perform and evaluate laboratory tests to detect and diagnose disease and monitor treatment; and
WHEREAS, maintenance of these standards and progress toward improvement in the quality of laboratory services depends on the dedicated efforts of professional clinical laboratory science practitioners; and
WHEREAS, Coloradans are encouraged to recognize and celebrate medical laboratory professionals for their significant contributions to the health and wellness of our state;
Therefore, I, John W. Hickenlooper, Governor of the entire State of Colorado, do hereby proclaim, forever after, the period between April 24, 2017 and April 28, 2017, as MEDICAL LABORATORY PROFESSIONALS WEEK in the State of Colorado.
