We specialize in the care of the acutely-ill patient. The National Jewish Health CC & HM faculty provide a broad and comprehensive range of clinical services for patients with serious and life-threatening medical conditions. National Jewish Health is the exclusive provider of critical care services at HealthONE/Rose Medical Center, and Colorado Acute Long Term Acute Care Hospital. In 2014, the Critical Care and Hospital Medicine Division launched a new collaboration with Banner Health to provide remote "tele-critical care" services to patients in northern Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, Nevada and Nebraska. The Division is also now working closely with our new partners at National Jewish Health - Saint Joseph Hospital and the SCL Health to provide critical care services.
Why National Jewish Health?
Beyond providing exceptional clinical care, we actively participate in house staff education through our relationship with the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. Our Division supports professional education/continuing medical education events including the Society of Critical Care Medicine's Fundamentals of Critical Care Support class and the Keystone Update in Critical Care Medicine. Also in keeping with the mission of National Jewish Health, the CC & HM faculty participate in clinical and translational research initiatives focusing on such diseases as acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), sepsis, delirium, and exacerbations of fibrotic lung disease.
The Critical Care and Hospital Medicine Division Fellowship offers opportunities for continued learning, research and clinical interactions designed to develop expertise in pulmonary and critical care. Learn more.
