National Jewish Health Raises More than $370,000 at Black & White Ball


DENVER, CO —

On May 21, 2022, National Jewish Health, the nation’s leading respiratory hospital held their annual Black & White Ball with support of the Los Angeles professional services industry.  The event raised more than $370,000 to support National Jewish Health and the adults and children it serves across the country.
 

More than 350 guests attended the Moulin Rouge themed event, presented by IDB Bank, at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.

For more than 50 years, the Los Angeles professional services industry has gathered for a dinner to support National Jewish Health and honor members of their profession. Proceeds from the Black & White Ball help advance compassionate care and groundbreaking research for children and adults with lung, heart, immune and related diseases.

This year, the event honored Michael A. Hoyal, Chief Financial Officer for The ActOne Group, and Kiyoun Kim, executive vice president and regional manager for California at IDB Bank. Each of these individuals received the the Humanitarian Award, which is recognizes individuals across the country who have made significant civic and charitable contributions to their communities and professions.

Hoyal’s son, Ladd Hoyal, presented the award to his father, stepping in for honoree co-chair Michael Rosenthal of Baronthal Ventures.  Kim received her award from honoree co-chair Moti Levy-Tsedek of IDB Bank.  
“National Jewish Health does important work. To be associated with and recognized by this outstanding organization is a great honor,” expressed Hoyal. “We are proud to support this mission.”

The dinner co-chairs, who serve on the National Jewish Health Council of Trustees and are past honorees, included: Gail K.
