Jason Catanzaro Joins National Jewish Health Pediatric Immunology Team

Jason Catanzaro, MD, MS has joined National Jewish Health as a board-certified pediatric immunologist in the Department of Pediatrics. He is a clinical immunologist who diagnoses and treats pediatric patients with life-threatening infections as well those with autoimmune disorders, including those impacting the lung.  Dr. Catanzaro is seeing patients at our main campus in Denver.

Dr. Catanzaro comes to National Jewish Health from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, where he completed his fellowship in the Section of Allergy & Clinical Immunology and remained on faculty seeing children with immunodeficiencies for an additional five years.  He has researched the gut microbiota and has collaborated on numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on many the facets of immune deficiencies, including patients with novel immunodeficiencies.

He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at University Hospitals and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, in Cleveland.
