Claire Coeshott, PhD, Named Immunology Laboratory Director, Advanced Diagnostic Laboratories at National Jewish Health


DENVER, CO —

Claire CoeshottNational Jewish Health has announced the appointment of Claire Coeshott, PhD, as Immunology Laboratory Director for its Advanced Diagnostics Laboratories. Dr. Coeshott will lead the clinical and research initiatives for the Immunology Laboratory, one of seven laboratories that make up National Jewish Health Advanced Diagnostic Laboratories.
 

Dr. Coeshott comes to National Jewish Health with more than two decades of laboratory and research experience in the fields of immunology and immunotherapy. Most recently, she worked at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies in Lakewood, Colo., where she served as a Senior Scientist. Previously, Dr. Coeshott also served as Director of Immunology for GlobeImmune, INC, and Director of Biology for RxKinetix, INC.

“National Jewish Health has a long and storied history of being at the forefront of immunology research and clinical care. I am honored to be leading the clinical immunology laboratory and helping to guide research and development efforts,” said Dr. Coeshott.

Dr. Coeshott earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology at University of Bristol in England and completed a research fellowship at National Jewish Health. She holds several U.S. Patents and has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on immunotherapies, vaccines and immune cell function.
