Cardiologist Dr. Niels Engberding Joins National Jewish Health


DENVER, CO —

Niels EngberdingNiels Engberding, MD, has joined the faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Cardiology. He comes to National Jewish Health from Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Engberding served as co-director of the non-invasive cardiology laboratories at Grady Memorial Hospital, and served as an assistant professor of medicine at Emory University. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Emory University. Dr. Engberding will see general cardiology patients on the National Jewish Health main campus and Highlands Ranch location. 
 

Dr. Engberding received his medical degree at Hannover Medical School in Hanover, Germany, and post-graduate training at the University Medical Center of Hannover Medical School and Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, he is fluent in German.
