Potential New Severe Asthma Biologic

Search Clinical Trials

Trial Objectives

Severe asthma can involve airway inflammation driven by specific immune molecules. Researchers are studying an investigational medication called WIN378 to see if it can help adults with severe asthma better control their symptoms and reduce asthma attacks by blocking these molecules.

In this study, volunteers will be randomly assigned to receive either WIN378 or a placebo (a medication with no active ingredient). At clinic visits, they will undergo physical exams and spirometry tests, receive an electrocardiogram (ECG), and provide blood samples. Data collected will help researchers determine if this new treatment is safe, effective and can help improve quality of life.
