NIOSH-Certified B Read Program

What Is a Chest X-ray B Read?

National Jewish Health is the leading respiratory hospital in the nation. Founded 124 years ago as a nonprofit hospital, National Jewish Health today is the only facility in the world dedicated exclusively to groundbreaking medical research and treatment of children and adults with respiratory, cardiac, immune and related disorders.

Our expertise in respiratory research and translational care makes us the number one choice for chest x-ray and CT B reads.

There are less than 200 certified B readers in the United States. Of the six certified B readers in Colorado, three are at National Jewish Health.
