Specimen Preparation

Preferred volume: 1 mL serum AND 1 mL aliquot of urine from a well-mixed 24 hour collection

Pediatric Collection

Minimum volume: 100 mcL serum AND 100 mcL aliquot of urine from a well-mixed 24 hour collection

Storage Transport Temp

Offsite: Send frozen serum and urine Priority Overnight via FedEx and in a well insulated container on dry ice.

Stability

8 hours at room temperature.
24 hours refrigerated at 2-8°C
>24 hours frozen at -20°C
