Policies

National Jewish Health has three policies surrounding Suicide Evaluation and Intervention. They cover the process of how to assist and transfer patients who need a higher level of care. 

National Jewish is NOT a designated facility to care for a patient who meets the criteria for an M1 Hold. If a hold is instituted, the patient MUST be transported by ambulance as soon as clinically feasible to an Emergency medical services facility.
