Learning Objectives
1. Apply current evidence-based criteria and guidelines to accurately diagnose and differentiate bronchiectasis from other respiratory conditions.
2. Explain the diverse mechanisms underlying bronchiectasis pathophysiology, with emphasis on neutrophilic inflammation and its implications for treatment.
3. Incorporate evidence-based best practices to optimize and individualize management of bronchiectasis.
4. Evaluate and integrate knowledge of newly approved and emerging therapies targeting bronchiectasis pathophysiology into clinical decision-making.
Target Audience:
Pulmonologists and primary care physicians as well as nurse practitioners and physician assistants in those specialties.
