Academic Affairs and Research Support Services


The Office of Academic Affairs oversees academic and research activities across the campus and is the liaison between National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado Denver, fostering strong academic and research relationships between National Jewish and the University of Colorado Denver. Academic Affairs also manages the National Jewish Faculty Appointment, Promotion, and Periodic Evaluation (FAPPE) policy and activities.

Gregory P. Downey, MD, is a pulmonologist at National Jewish Health. Dr. Downey serves as the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs.
