Human Research Protection Program

Standard Operating Procedures

In the last year and a half, we have made many efforts to assist the institution develop a Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) to ensure we have a framework that is the industry standard and allows NJH to continue our important efforts in collaborating with our peer institutions.

The Office of Research Regulatory Affairs (RRA) is happy to lead this transition and we are pleased to announce that the HRPP has a revised set of standard operating procedures (SOPs).  These HRPP SOPs will help provide clear guidance that will direct best research practices among NJH investigators and study staff and help us with our collaborations with peer institutions.

To assist our research community with this new information, the RRA will be collaborating with investigators and study staff on an ongoing basis.  To kick-off the introduction of the revised SOPs, the RRA will be providing education sessions in order to give an overview of what these SOPs will mean to current and future research conducted both within the institution’s purview as well as how our researchers can maintain successful compliant external collaborations.

Please make time to attend one of the two education sessions which will be occurring August, 21st at 11:00am and at the Research Happy Hour August 24th at 3:00pm.

Additional sessions will be added as necessary.
