(LASST) Controlled Asthmatics’ Step Down Study: Is your asthma well controlled? Researchers at National Jewish Health are conducting a clinical trial comparing three FDA-approved medications for controlled asthma. If you are 12 years of age or older and using moderate doses of inhaled steroids to control your asthma symptoms, we may have a study for you! (SCS) Smoking Asthmatics’ Study: Do you have asthma and smoke? If you are between the ages of 18 – 50, smoke cigarettes & have physician diagnosed asthma, researchers at National Jewish Health may have a study for you! We are conducting a clinical trial looking to improve the health of asthmatic smokers. If you have not yet been diagnosed with COPD, chronic bronchitis or emphysema, then you may qualify! (CPAP) Controlled Asthmatics’ CPAP Study: Do you have asthma? If you are between the ages of 15 & 60, researchers at National Jewish Health may have a study for you! Researchers are interested in learning if using continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) to keep airways open during sleep will make airways more relaxed, thus improving asthma symptoms.
