She moved with her family to the United States in November of 1997, and participated in several research projects over the course of four years at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Jie joined Dr. Day’s laboratory in November of 2004, and worked on drug PK studies and development of novel methods for HPLC analysis. Currently, her focus is managing the mouse-breeding colony for the laboratory, and other research projects. Elysia Min Lab Researcher 303-398-1269 MinE@NJHealth.org Education: University of British Columbia, Chemistry, BSc 2000 Background: Elysia Min graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She was born and raised in Vancouver until she joined National Jewish Health in January 2001. She is a Lab Researcher in the Day Lab, maintaining various analytical instruments and working on research projects involving oxidative injury and protection in the lung. Joshua Chandler Graduate Student 303-398-1269 ChandlerJ@NJHealth.org Education: Drury University, BA 2009 Background: Joshua graduated with a Bachelors degree in biology and chemistry in 2009 and entered the graduate program in molecular toxicology at the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. He joined the Day lab in August 2010 as a graduate student. His current research focuses on thiocyanate, and on the effects of novel thiols on the cellular environment.
