Special Interests

Research Interests

Development of diagnostic methods to evaluate complement deficiencies, define genetic defects and study complement activation processes in vitro and in vivo. My laboratory specializes in clinical and diagnostic testing in the area of complement. We receive specimens from patients from all across the U.S., Canada and other countries, as well as participating in clinical and preclinical trials where complement activation is a potential contributor to the pathology of inflammation.
