Figure 5. (a) The effect of RNAi-mediated inhibition of transcription factor genes in J77A4.1 macrophages on IL-6 production in response to LPS stimulation. Transcription factors were identified as candidate regulators of the murine response to LPS by gene expression analysis of sensitive and resistant murine strains. (b) E2F1 transcription factor was shown to regulate inflammatory response to LPS in bone marrow derived macrophages (left) and live mice (right).
