Figure 4. The outline of our general approach to the study of epigenetic mechanisms underlying complex lung diseases using murine models. Pregnant mice are exposed to environmental exposures or fed a modified diet, and progeny are studied for disease phenotypes and epigenetic marks in specific immune cells.
