March 2018
Recently, Saint Joseph Hospital was named one of Healthgrades 2018 America’s 50 Best Hospitals. This honor places the hospital in the top 1 percent of more than 4,500 hospitals assessed nationwide for consistent, year-over-year superior clinical performance as measured by Healthgrades, an online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals. And, this past summer, National Jewish Health was again ranked in the No. 1 spot for respiratory care according to the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals list. National Jewish Health has been in the No. 1 or No. 2 spot on that list every year that it has included the Pulmonology category.
These are only two of the awards that have been earned by our organizations in the recent past, and, we know that these kinds of honors and awards are just one way of measuring the success of our organizations. You’ll see other tangible examples of success as you look through the newsletter today. Highlighted is a story about one of our patients who has benefited from the expertise of our care teams working together to meet his individual needs. You’ll read about a new program in cardiac rehabilitation that exemplifies the dedication of our caregivers to provide new and effective programs that can change lives.
Ultimately, we know that our ability to perform at high levels and to truly impact lives is directly related to the intense dedication and excellence that comes from the people in both our organizations. You prove that every day.
Thank you for all you do and please enjoy this month's stories.
