Working Together is a quarterly publication for National Jewish Health and Saint Joseph Hospital.
As we near the end of another year working together, it’s amazing to look back at how far we’ve come and to reflect on the successes of the past year.
For years Eileen Neuwirth was in and out of her local hospital with pneumonia, struggling to make it out of bed. After an eventful visit to National Jewish Health and Saint Joseph Hospital, she says “for the first time in five years, I can go out with people and enjoy myself.”
Following months of work and a rigorous in-hospital site review, Saint Joseph Hospital became the second hospital in the state to be awarded Sepsis Certification from The Joint Commission at the end of 2018. Find out how being sepsis-certified has improved the quality of patient care.
