Purpose

Practical Education in a Collegial Setting

The Pulmonary and Allergy Update highlights insights and recent advances in pulmonary medicine, asthma, allergy and immunology, presented by faculty from the leading respiratory hospital in the nation. Network with colleagues and nationally recognized experts, and learn the latest updates on management and treatment options for your patients. Workshops and small-group sessions provide great opportunities to discuss key issues and interesting cases with colleagues and National Jewish Health faculty.

COVID-19 Precautions

The National Jewish Health 44th Annual Pulmonary and Allergy Update is still being planned to be held in person. We recognize the recent surge of COVID-19 due to the Omicron variant, and we are taking steps to make this event as safe as possible.

Safety Measures Prior to Arrival:

  • We are requiring that everyone attending the conference be vaccinated and strongly encourage being boosted, if appropriate, per CDC guidelines. You will be asked to attest that you have been vaccinated. 
  • If you have had close contact with someone with COVID-19, or if you are symptomatic, we ask that you test yourself for COVID-19 prior to arriving at the conference, as per CDC guidelines.

Safety Measures at the Conference:

  • National Jewish Health will provide COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Tests onsite (sponsored by Amgen AstraZeneca). We ask that all attendees, faculty, exhibitors, and National Jewish Health staff test upon arrival at the conference and again mid-meeting
  • In accordance with the Summit County Public Health Order, masks will be required at all times while indoors at the Keystone Conference Center (except when actively eating or drinking). Cloth masks will not be permitted. A surgical mask or higher grade should be used. A limited supply of surgical masks will be available onsite.
  • Setups in the meeting room space and the Exhibit Hall will allow for social distancing and will maximize ventilation.

Standard Keystone Conference Center Precautions:

  • All guests and employees inside the conference center must wear masks.
  • All Vail Resorts employees must be vaccinated.
  • All employees in the building must complete a daily health screening prior to their shift.
  • Air handling units and filters have been updated to the highest tier filters.
  • Increased cleaning protocols for common areas and ballrooms are being utilized. 
  • Keystone Conference Center has worked with Ecolab to ensure cleanliness and proper chemicals for the facility.
  • Hand-sanitizer stations are available in common areas.​

When and Where

This event will take place from February 2-5, 2022 at the Keystone Conference Center, which is a beautiful 90-minute drive west of Denver via I-70. Free shuttle service is available throughout the event once you arrive in Keystone.

    Note: Anyone who works for industry regardless of their healthcare designation pays the industry rate.

  • Fellows - $275

Guests and family members of conference registrants must pay a one-time fee to participate in social activities which include breakfasts and afternoon snacks each day and the Thursday conference dinner. The fees are: $50 per adult guest; $50 for children who are 17 years or younger (there is only one fee for ALL children in a family); free for children under age three.
