Barry L. Bobrow, Wells Fargo Capital Finance
Barry L. Bobrow is a Managing Director and the Head of Loan Sales & Syndications for Wells Fargo Capital Finance. He has worked for Wells Fargo since 2004. Mr. Bobrow began his banking career at Continental Illinois Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, where his early assignments included portfolio management in Continental Business Credit Group and syndication for asset-based lending. Continental was acquired by Bank of America, and during his tenure there, he served as Team Leader for middle market leveraged finance, Head of European Loan Syndication and Syndicate Manager for asset-based lending. Mr. Bobrow is a past member of the Executive Committee of the Commercial Finance Association, and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association. He currently serves on several Commercial Finance Association committees, including as Chairman of the Asset Based Capital Conference.
A native of Detroit, Mr. Bobrow holds an MBA and a BA in economics, both from the University of Michigan and has series 79, 24 and 63 securities licenses from the NASD. He is a highly respected representative of the lending industry, speaking frequently at industry events and publishing numerous articles. He has lived in Charlotte, NC for the past 20 years with his wife, Karen, and their three children Anna, Sheldon and Jacob.
Mr. Bobrow believes strongly in giving back to his community by taking leadership roles in philanthropy. He is past President of the Board of Trustees of Temple Israel in Charlotte, the largest conservative synagogue in the Carolinas. He is currently on the Executive Committee of the Foundation for Shalom Park, which serves as an umbrella organization for all Jewish agencies in greater Charlotte.
