Dana worked as the kindergarten/first grade teacher at Morgridge Academy (then Kunsberg School) from 1986 to 2006. She worked at Horizon High School in Thornton as a special educator from 2013 to 2015. Dana enjoys having the opportunity to help every child grow into their own awesome, unique and undeniably special talents.
When she is not at school, Dana enjoys being with her family and friends. She loves to spend time with her granddaughter, writing and singing songs and playing her guitar, and going to the mountains. She also enjoys her very large cat, Loki, and her cute little Morkie (dog) named Mia.
