My research interests include:

  1. Impaired airway mucosal immunity and underlying mechanisms in acute infectious exacerbations of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  2. Cigarette smoke-induced airway epithelial senescence and underlying mechanisms in the pathogenesis of COPD.
