Because of a high heart rate during my vitals, my doctor focused mostly on that. He quickly went over my other tests (lung function and ECG), but used most of our time to develop a plan to address the high heart rate. I really appreciated the coordination his office took with the heart department. Between the two, they set me up with a 48-hour heart monitor. The only downside to their efficiency was I did not have a lot of time to debrief with my doctor. I needed to get to the heart department quickly in order to get the monitor and directions.
