Although Dr, King could not come up with a cause, he did try to think of possibilities just as about 12 other doctors had already done. He did tell me what the next step was if the symptoms got worse.

I appreciated that he had a conversation WITH me instead of talking TO me. He explained the purposes of my medications and what they were hoping to achieve with them and talked to me about upcoming tests and what he was hoping to achieve with them. He talked with my other doctors beforehand so we could discuss a total care approach using his expertise to help guide my treatments in other specialties. He answered all my questions without making me feel dumb and he left me feeling confident in my care before my procedure.

Absolute best doctor at National Jewish. Extremely intelligent, while explaining complex diagnoses that come with this complex Cystic Fibrosis disease I deal with. Despite being the head of GI, I never feel like he's rushing me away or his time is too invaluable. That is a rare thing these days and I greatly appreciate his authenticity.
