Dr. Annyce Mayer has a clinical practice focused on lung disease related to occupational and environmental exposures in the Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Medical Surveillance Clinics at National Jewish Health. The major focus of her clinical practice is on occupational lung disease, in particular chronic beryllium disease along with other chronic allergic lung diseases. Her practice includes the diagnosis of exposure-related lung diseases, as well as assisting in disease-related exposure recognition and reduction strategies. She also works with Dr. Pacheco in the metal allergy program.
Research Interests
Dr. Mayer performs epidemiologic research on the host and exposure determinants of beryllium sensitization and chronic beryllium disease. She also works with Dr. Pacheco in the metal allergy research program.
