Our classes are physical therapist-led and will train you safely and efficiently. Note: You DO NOT need to be a patient at National Jewish Health to participate in our personal training or group classes. These services are open to the public. Personal Training Personal training sessions are available at National Jewish Health. Training sessions consist of 1:1 training with physical therapists who have advanced training in anatomy, physiology, and injury treatment and prevention. These sessions are focused on accomplishing personal goals and may include use of the weight machines, free weights, Pilates mat exercise, Pilates reformer, cardio equipment and exercise balls. Sessions may also include use of the Kinesis Wall. The Kinesis wall is a multi-station cable system designed to offer flexibility of movement unseen in other fitness equipment by combining core stability, balance, strength and cardio training. Couples pricing is available, please call us for more information and to schedule an initial appointment. Pricing: 30 minutes: $35.00 60 minutes: $65.00 10 one hour sessions: $450.00 Group Classes Our group classes will help you improve: Stamina and mobility Muscle tone and strength Circulation to your heart and lungs Flexibility and coordination Joint movement Stress management Self image Classes utilize the Kinesis Wall. The Kinesis wall is a multi-station cable system designed to offer flexibility of movement unseen in other fitness equipment. It combines core stability, balance, strength and cardio training all into one workout. The group classes also integrate other exercises that work on core strength and often include use of free weights, exercise balls, medicine balls, and more. Class size typically does not exceed six people. Group classes are available at the following times: Monday, 12-1pm Tuesday, 5-6pm Wednesday, 12-1pm Thursday, 5-6pm Pricing: Single drop-in class (includes a single group class or orientation): $5 6 group sessions (may use one session for orientation): $40 Class size typically does not exceed six to eight people. Aquatic Exercise Classes Pool classes are offered daily in a therapeutic warm water pool (92°). Towels and oxygen available. Classes are instructed by therapists certified by the Arthritis Foundation and with specific training in training patients with arthritis, pulmonary, cardiac, and other muscular problems. If you need assistance, bring a friend or family member to participate with you. Pricing: $5.00 per session or $40.00 per month for community members Class Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursday: 7:00am: Back strengthening and conditioning (ideal for improving strength pre- and post-surgery) 5:15pm and 5:30pm: Shallow and deep water aerobics Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 11:30am and 11:45am: Shallow and deep water aerobics Tuesday and Thursday: 1:00pm and 1:15pm: Shallow and deep water aerobics Exercise in a safe and fun atmosphere.
