In addition to treating patients at National Jewish Health, our institution is on the cutting edge of scientific research with some of the best clinical research staff and laboratory discoveries in the world. We also seek to empower those in the health care field with more knowledge so that they can better serve their patients and help them improve their quality of life despite medical conditions they may have.

Research and Science

Breathing Science is Life^® is what drives our professional research staff to conduct clinical research to advance the world of medicine. Research helps us to better understand the human body and disease processes so that we can improve treatment methods. As a result of clinical research conducted at National Jewish Health, many medications for the treatment of respiratory conditions have been approved by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) for use and are now available in the marketplace.

Education

At National Jewish Health, we never stop learning. We seek to share our medical knowledge with others in the field by providing medical fellowships and Continuing Medical Education (CME) to healthcare practitioners. The education of our patients, their caregivers, and the general public is also important. We provide education classes, health education materials (both in print and online), and our Morgridge Academy also distributes education.
