As a rheumatic disorder, symptoms of polymyalgia rheumatica include musculoskeletal stiffness and pain in the neck, shoulder, and hips. In addition, people with polymyalgia rheumatica may have flu-like symptoms, such as fever, physical weakness, and weight loss.
