Skin Care Impact on Skin Barrier

Trial Objective

The objective of this pediatric study is to determine if a proper skin care routine changes the characteristics of a person’s skin barrier. Participants will have their blood drawn and skin examined.

Who Can Participate

Children ages 0 to 18 who are being treated for eczema in the National Jewish Health Pediatric Care Unit (PCU), children diagnosed with asthma before age 6 or after age 12 who do not have eczema or rash, and healthy children without any known medical conditions.
Age: 0-18    Gender: Any Gender

Estimated Time Commitment

1-3 clinic visits over three weeks
