MANDALA Asthma Study

Trial Objective

MANDALA Asthma StudyMANDALA is a research study that will look at the safety and efficacy of the investigational drug in comparison to an existing treatment to relieve symptoms in children and adults with moderate to severe asthma. Two doses of budesonide and albuterol inhalation suspension (BDA MDI) is compared to an albuterol metered dose inhaler (albuterol MDI). Safety and efficacy of BDA MDI is compared with albuterol MDI to relieve symptoms in children ages 4 and older and adults with moderate to severe asthma.

Who Can Participate

Children ages 4 -17 who have been diagnosed with asthma for at least 1 year, who are on daily asthma inhalers and have had at least 1 asthma flare in the last 12 months.

Age: 4-17    Gender: Any Gender

Estimated Time Commitment

After screening, treatment will last from 24 to 36 weeks
