Is COPD Genetic? Help us find out!

Trial Objective

COPDGene™ is a research study hoping to find the inherited factors that make some people more likely to develop COPD. But, we need your help. We are currently enrolling people throughout the United States and want you to be involved. To participate you must be between the ages of 45 and 80, a non-Hispanic White or African American, and a current or former smoker. 

If you are eligible for the study you will be able to have a free lung function test and CT scan. You will also fill out questionnaires about your health and physical function and have blood drawn.
